A note from Natalie

After thirty years of painting in solitude, I'm finally opening my studio door.

I've spent my career painting the creatures I love — magpies, kingfishers, wombats, wrens — trying to capture something true about the way they move through the world. And somewhere along the way, I developed a small habit. Before I sign any painting, I hide an ant.

Not every collector notices straight away. Some spend years hunting through their collection, finding one ant, then another, then another hidden in a rock face or a tangle of leaves. I love that. I love the idea of something small and patient waiting to be found.

The Hidden Ant Society is my way of bringing you inside that world. Each month, you'll receive a fine art print of one of my paintings — not always a new work, but one worth revisiting — along with a personal letter from me. I'll write about the techniques behind specific paintings, the field trips that inspired them, the wildlife encounters that still make me laugh or catch my breath, and occasionally the more eccentric corners of my studio life.

The print is something to collect and display. The letter is something I hope you'll actually look forward to.

• A6 Fine Art Print — the Print of the Month A 150 × 105mm fine art print of a selected work from Natalie's collection, printed to the same standard as her full-size gallery prints. Each month features a different species or subject — birds, marsupials, frogs, and more from thirty years of work painting Australia's native wildlife.
• A personal letter from Natalie Each month's letter goes behind the painting — the techniques, the field trips, the wildlife stories, and the occasional quirky side project. Plus a QR code to the digital version with extra photos and video content exclusive to members.
• A $250 gift — one member, every month Each month, one member receives a $250 gift to spend on any artwork in Natalie's collection — a canvas print, a glass print, or put it toward the Collector Starter Series. No catch, no entry required. Just one very lucky member each month.
• Members-only discounts and first access Society members receive exclusive discounts on Natalie's full print range, plus early access to new releases several times a year — before they're available to the public.
• Access to the private members community Join the closed Hidden Ant Society Facebook group — a space to share your growing collection, find the hidden ants together, ask Natalie questions, and connect with other collectors who love Australian wildlife as much as you do.
• Posted to your door — dispatched by the 15th each month Your print and letter are dispatched by the 15th of each month. Any new members who join by the 14th receive that month's issue. Members joining on the 15th or later receive the following month's issue.

Membership pricing

Lock in Foundation pricing while you can.

We're offering just 250 Foundation Memberships at AU$35/month. Foundation Members lock in this rate permanently — if prices ever rise, Foundation Members will always pay AU$14 less than the standard rate. Once the 250 spots are filled, membership moves to AU$49/month.

Questions

Everything you need to know.

• When will I receive my first print?

  The first issue ships by 15 May 2026. Members who join by 14 May will receive the May issue. Members who join on 15 May or later will receive the June issue. From then on, prints are dispatched by the 15th of every month.

• What size are the prints?

  Each monthly print is A6 size — 150 × 105mm — printed on fine art paper to the same quality standard as Natalie's full-size gallery prints. They're designed to be framed, collected, or gifted.

• Will the same artwork be repeated?

  No. Each month features a different work selected from Natalie's extensive catalogue, built over thirty years. With hundreds of paintings to draw from, you won't see repeats. Several times a year, members also receive first access to brand new releases.

• Can I give a membership as a gift?

  Absolutely — The Hidden Ant Society makes a beautiful gift for anyone who loves Australian wildlife or fine art. Please contact us at ant-society@natalieparkerprints.com.au and we'll help arrange it.

• What is Foundation Membership?

  The first 250 members to join receive Foundation status, locking in a permanent monthly rate of AU$35 — AU$14 less than the standard AU$49 rate. This saving applies for as long as you remain a member, even if prices rise in the future.

• Can I cancel?

  Yes, at any time. There's no lock-in contract or minimum term. To make changes to your membership, contact us at ant-society@natalieparkerprints.com.au and we'll take care of it.

• Do you ship internationally?

  Yes, we ship worldwide. Members outside Australia pay AU$45/month for Foundation membership (AU$59/month standard), which includes the additional postage cost. Delivery times will vary by destination.

• What is the private Facebook group?

  All members are invited to join the closed Hidden Ant Society Facebook group — a community where you can share your growing print collection, track down hidden ants across Natalie's paintings, ask questions, and connect with other collectors. Natalie will also share behind-the-scenes content from current projects in the group.

One last thing

The ant has been in almost every painting Natalie has ever signed.

It started as a quiet personal habit and became something collectors look for — and find, and celebrate, and message Natalie about at all hours. The Hidden Ant Society takes its name from that small, patient creature. We think it's a fitting symbol for what we're building here: something easy to overlook if you rush past, but deeply rewarding for those who take the time to look.
